Seeds ‘n sunset at Skokie River Nature Preserve

This Wednesday, gather seeds at sunset, a gorgeous time of day. The days are shorter so let’s meet at 5 o’clock and we'll work ‘til 7. Experience Shaw Prairie and Woods when the dragonflies and butterflies are settling in for the evening.

The seeds we collect will be mixed and planted out by stewards in priority restoration areas. Contribute to local biodiversity by means of this valued service.

Wear long pants and socks, and bring water and perhaps a snack. Tools and seed collection bags provided.
