AUDITIONS for "The Odd Couple"

Come be in a show! Auditions for "The Odd Couple" will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 4th and 5th at Central School Arts and Humanities Center, 809 Kirby St., Room 234 — with with possible callbacks Aug. 6.
Rehearsals will begin the following week. Performance dates are Oct. 3-5 at Southlake Theater.
This classic Neil Simon comedy features an odd duo:
• Oscar, a sportswriter, is a divorced man who lives in a messy apartment and enjoys a carefree, slovenly lifestyle.
• Felix, a TV news writer who is recently separated; he's incredibly neat, obsessive, and prone to hypochondria.
When Felix moves in with Oscar, his meticulous nature clashes with Oscar's casual approach, leading to humorous situations and escalating arguments.
There are roles available for six men and two women. The other roles are Oscar's four poker-night friends and a pair of British sisters who live in his apartment building.
No acting experience is necessary. No fees are charged.
Actors do not need to prepare monologues. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

The show will kick off LCLT's 99th anniversary season.
