Kula's Lake Stevens Dance Party

This is an in person Dance Party that takes place in Lake Stevens, Washington!

Kula’s legendary dance parties are BACK, and this time, we’re taking it outside! Join us on May 8th at 6 PM at The Mill’s Outdoor Plaza in Lake Stevens, WA, where we’ll dance freely beneath a heated, covered patio—rain or shine!

Perfect! No experience necessary. This isn’t about fancy footwork—it’s about feeling the music, moving however you want, and letting loose!

Who Can Attend:

Kula’s Dance Experiment is open to dancers of all ages, sizes, shapes, and backgrounds who want to celebrate the miraculous beings that they are. We recognize the importance of allowing ones dance to emerge naturally and freely. However, for those that want a bit of instruction we will do a brief Shuffle instruction.

We’ll dance as a community of movers and shakers undeterred by our actual dance experience. We encourage you to dance without judgement of yourself or others.

About Our Playlist:

Our playlist will be carefully curated to enliven, inspire and raise your energy level. We are certain that if you can dance free from judgement, that you will leave feeling alive and ready to tackle all of life’s challenges. If you have some favorite dance tunes, feel free to make suggestions. We may not be able to accommodate your requests, but then again, we could surprise you.

In 2021, Kula Cloth Founder, Anastasia Allison started an experiment -- and it took on a life of its own. She started dancing to see what would happen... and well, she hasn't stopped. Her experiment brought her so much joy that she felt compelled to share it with others.

In January of 2022, she expanded the experiment by inviting people to join her in Zoom... and they did! Over 300 people signed up for the experiment... and they haven't stopped. So, we took the experiment to the next level and invited to people to join us in real life... And they did.

Kula's In-Person Dance Parties will leave you feeling a sense of pure joy and a euphoria that doesn't seem legal. We hope you will join us in Lake Stevens to see what all the excitement is about. It could be a life changing experience.
