The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is proud to announce that this month’s Hawaiian Music Series will feature a special live performance by
Kevin Perry | @kevinperry.music 🎶
A Hawaiian singer known for his “real Hawaiian soul music.” His original track “Cuz I’m” was featured on the HotRain Band album, and he’s been a guest on several podcasts, TV shows, and live events including closing the Thursday night Hoʻolauleʻa at the SCP Hotel during the 2025 Merrie Monarch.
Rooted in the falsetto stylings taught by his kūpuna wahine, Kevin’s music blends contemporary Hawaiian vibes with old school soul. His first beach video filmed in Waiʻanae went viral, now with 6M+ views of him singing “Majesty.”
Born and raised in Kalihi and Nānākuli, Kevin also taught Hawaiian Studies for 5 years and helped at Kalihi-Waena Elementary with his tutu and great-grandmother. His High School band HotRain later became the house band for the late George “Fiji” Veikoso.
Today, Kevin continues to share heartfelt, faith filled music with listeners near and far reminding everyone that God loves you, and to never give up on love.
