READI Public Input Meeting for Regional Arts & Culture Plan

The Greater Lafayette Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) Region now seeks community input into its forthcoming Regional Arts & Culture Plan, which will help enhance the region’s creative sector and drive economic growth. All residents of Benton, Carroll, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Warren, and White counties are invited and encouraged to attend one of seven Community Workshops being held May 19–22 to offer their thoughts regarding art and culture in the region. Feedback collected at each workshop will be used to inform plan recommendations.

Workshops will open with a brief presentation to introduce the planning process and its goals, then transition to a series of interactive activities that enable participants to:
• Share their perspectives on the current state of art and culture in the region
• Identify priorities and opportunities for future development
• Contribute ideas for specific projects and initiatives

Each meeting will feature light snacks and beverages. Attendance is free and registration is not required, though it is appreciated.
