Step into the park’s Cajun Prairie to experience seed collection firsthand. You’ll have the chance to gather native seeds, learn about their role in supporting wildlife and healthy ecosystems, and understand how these small acts help restore Louisiana’s unique landscape.
Screening of Louisiana Grass Roots under Blakewood Oaks | 7:30-8:15 p.m.
Afterwards, enjoy a special screening of Louisiana Grass Roots, a captivating film that explores the vital role native grasses play in our state’s ecology and cultural heritage.
