Lafayette Skate Jam - July

Join us this summer for the first ever Lafayette Skate Jam, an exciting event series presented by the City of Lafayette! Hosted on a Friday night each month, the Outdoor Rink and Skate Park come alive with the perfect mix of music, skating, and fun! At 7 PM, the focus is on the outdoor rink with an hour of music from a local DJ. Followed by a great lineup of live, local teen bands for our skate park crowd. You can expect cold treats from some local food trucks and a few added surprises provided by local businesses and partnering city departments. Whether you're here to skate, dance, hang out with friends, or simply vibe to the music, the Lafayette Skate Jam is the place to be. Don’t miss out on the summer’s ultimate hangout spot – see you there!

DJ Drake will play from 7-8. Drake is a full time DJ/performer who brings his energy and love of music to as many venues and clients as possible for the last 13 years. He enjoys mixing songs from as many genres as he can possibly fit into one set and surprising his audience with morsels of music that include classic remixed hits & today’s bangers!

The Ephinjis will play from 8-9. Fuzzy guitar-driven punk with new wave tendencies and soaring vocal harmonies, the Ephinjis’ latest outing delivers all the edge we’ve come to expect out of the Lafayette-trio.
