ITAV: Family Enrichment Program

We’re thrilled to announce that It Takes A Village (ITAV) is beginning its second year and we are now welcoming new families to join this life-changing program!

ITAV is a free, year-round initiative created by the Good Samaritan Project to support families, youth, and seniors right here in our community. If you receive assistance through SNAP, HUD, Medicaid, SSI, or similar programs, you are eligible to participate.

What does ITAV offer?We surround families with wraparound support in these areas:

• Economic empowerment – job readiness, budgeting, entrepreneurship
• Youth enrichment – music, arts, performance, and leadership
• Health and wellness – fitness, nutrition, screenings, and mental health
• Senior support – fellowship, resources, and advocacy
• Community gardening – fresh food and food justice education
• Family unity – parenting, mentoring, and multi-generational bonding

We believe when families are empowered, futures are transformed.
