Join us for a summer filled with creativity, exploration, and fun! Each week brings a new theme packed with exciting projects and hands-on creative experiences. As always, our camps are rooted in process art, encouraging young artists to experiment, explore, and create in their own unique way!

Dollhouse Designer Summer Camp 🏠✨
A timeless tradition at Flourish Studio! Dollhouse Designer Summer Camp is back for its 7th year, and it’s as exciting as ever! Campers will spend the week planning, designing, and building their very own miniature dollhouses exactly as they imagine them. From the foundation to the tiniest details, this camp allows artists to express their creativity while developing their design and construction skills.
Camp Details:
📅 Dates: July 14th - 18th, 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
🎨 Ages: 6-10 years old
🎟 Full-Week Enrollment Only—This is a course, so artists are encouraged to sign up for the whole week to complete their dollhouse project!
🥪 What to Bring: A packed lunch and refillable water bottle
🌞 Outdoor Fun! Weather permitting, lunchtime will include activities like a short walk, or free play in the community garden. Sunblock, hats, or sunglasses are encouraged!
What They’ll Explore:
🏰 Monday – Design, Plan, Build
Start with concept sketches and planning the layout of their dollhouse.
Begin constructing the framework and walls of their dollhouse.
Discuss what makes a well-designed space and create a vision for the interior and exterior.
🖌 Tuesday – Building the Structure
Learn basic crafting skills like cutting, gluing, and measuring to build a sturdy structure.
Bring the exterior to life, leaving no detail unattended.
🎨 Wednesday – Designing the Interiors
Design the rooms, furniture, and decor inside their dollhouses.
Explore creative techniques for painting and decorating miniature furniture.
👩🎨 Thursday – Peg People & Personal Touches
Create custom peg people to live in their dollhouses, with fun outfits and accessories!
Add personalized touches to the dollhouse, from wallpaper to small art pieces.
🏡 Friday – Dollhouse Village & Final Showcase
Finish up any final touches and set up their dollhouses in a display village!
Celebrate their creations and play with their dolls in the community of miniatures they’ve created!
Important Details:
✅ Drop-off camp: Check-in/out within 5 minutes of start and end times.
✅ Ages: 6-10 years old.
✅ Full-week enrollment required—This is a collaborative project, so participation all week is encouraged!
✅ What to Bring: A packed lunch, refillable water bottle, and clothes that can get messy.
Artists will leave with their fully completed dollhouses, but the most cherished memories will be of the fun they had designing, building, and playing with their creations! 🏠✨
