An Evening with John H. Lawrence!

John H. Lawrence will be in the bookshop on July 23 at 6 p.m. to discuss and sign his book *Louisiana Lens: Photographs from The Historic New Orleans Collection*!

In *Louisiana Lens,* John focuses on the history of photography in connection with New Orleans. He showcases 200 years of the development of photography and the city through 175 images ranging from 19th-century daguerreotypes to born-digital photographs, and also provides a narrative for each image to further the insight of the photographer, artistry, and history.

We can’t wait to snap into the world of photography on the evening of the 23rd with John H. Lawrence!
