Jump Start Your Creativity is a mixed-media course designed to help artists—both hobbyist and professional—break through creative blocks and build momentum in their practice.
If you struggle with getting started, running out of ideas, overthinking your work, or feeling disconnected from the joy of making, this course offers practical solutions. Through guided, low-pressure exercises in drawing, painting, and collage, you’ll quiet your inner critic, strengthen observation skills, and learn how to generate ideas more freely and consistently.
You’ll experiment with techniques such as contour and blind drawing, intuitive mark-making, collaborative work, watercolour exploration, collage, and reflection practices. These tools help you loosen up, embrace spontaneity, and develop a clearer understanding of how you create.
By the end of the course, you’ll have greater confidence, a deeper awareness of your creative process, and simple strategies to keep your practice active, playful, and sustainable—no matter your experience level.
