Chris Daniels: (not related to Charlie, Jack or Bill!) is a renown singer, songwriter and guitarist and a 2013 inductee to the prestigious, COLORADO MUSIC HALL OF FAME. Chris and his soulful band, "Chris Daniel's & The Kings" have been making music together and selling out nightclubs and festivals from coast to coast and Europe for over 33 years-- and are still going strong!
Among numerous awards and honors, Chris was also nominated for a Grammy (!) and has won Westword's "Best of Denver" music award year after year. He has worked recording and producing records, performing alongside and opening shows with some of the most respected musicians in the business.
Chris's songwriting skills have been used in commercials and national TV shows. His singing has been featured on commercials all across the US and Canada.
Tonight, Chris and his band will have you boppin' in your seats as his seven piece "funky blues and soul" band get the room rockin' .... The band combined with Fred Gowdy's soulful singing, and of course, Chris' warm, personable onstage persona leading the band, will put on a show you won't soon forget. We promise. .
This show is an all-out “kick butt horn band” celebrating great horn-driven blues, R&B, funk, and rock n’ roll. They have been compared to Little Feat, “John Hiatt meets Tower of Power” and “Keb Mo with horns.”
