Join us for G.E.T. Fresh! (Getting Everyone Together), a vibrant community event focused on supporting La Crosse youth and families as they head into the 2025–2026 school year with confidence, resources, and community connection.

G.E.T fresh! (Getting Everyone Together) is open to everyone in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and serves as a way to show care for the community's multi-racial, multi-cultural, Black, and Brown families, representing residents with diverse backgrounds. This year’s event aims to provide 150 backpacks (on a first-come, first-served basis) filled with school supplies for students from elementary through high school. To prepare students for school, experienced hairstylists will be available to specialize in braiding and working with waves, curls, coils, and ringlets that hair can have, which creates a unique need. Food will be provided during the event by local organizations invested in the well-being of our youth. The event strives to be inclusive and accessible to all, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the tools they need for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year. All are welcome.
