August Meeting-Coulee Region Committee for Dignified Aging

Our meeting is set for:

Time: 11:45am – 1pm (includes a light lunch, speaker to begin at 12pm)

Location: Benedictine Villa-2902 East Ave S, La Crosse WI

Cost: $5.00 (Payment options available online on Eventbrite invitation OR payment via cash or check upon check in at monthly meeting)

***Upon entry, attendees will pay the fee towards the committee fund (fund will be utilized for lunch and speaker costs, an annual retreat, and/or spring summit open to all members and attendees).

Many are asking, “What are the benefits of joining this committee?”

 We are all aware our healthcare systems are stressed.

 The number of healthcare workers is dwindling and many of you are wearing multiple “hats.”

 We are NOT prepared for the growing health demands of baby boomers.

 We are NOT prepared for the growing number of individuals with dementia

Our goal is to provide education, some might be "out of the box"; which will make us all stronger, more resourceful professionals, ready to serve our aging population. Your input will guide the topics presented.

Our mission is to unite caregivers, organizations, and agencies to enhance the lives of the elderly. Through collaboration, we provide support to caregivers and strengthen the capacity of organizations, ensuring every older adult receives dignified care and assistance.

The vision is that we see a vibrant community where caregivers, organizations, and agencies

converge in a shared commitment to providing compassionate and dignified care for the elderly.

Central to our vision is the elevation of education as a guiding light with knowledge and resources.Through collaborative efforts, we fortify organizational capacities, fostering an environment where older adults are honored with the respect and support they deserve, enabling them to thrive with dignity and grace.
