Join us for an evening with Seattle artist Kimberly Trowbridge in conversation with MoNA's Director of Curatorial Affairs and Curator of Northwest Art, Christian Waguespack, as they discuss the influence of Northwest icon Michael Spafford on her own artistic career. Trowbridge's painting, Night Moves, is currently paired with Spafford's Leda and the Swan, 1975, in At the Seam: The Museum of Northwest Art's Permanent Collection.
This event will also mark the launch of the William Turner: Conversations with the Elders exhibition catalogue, which will be available for purchase in the MoNA Store.
This evening offers a sneak peek at MoNA’s upcoming Member Events and Lecture Series. Members will have the opportunity to share their ideas for future topics and speakers—during the event and in a follow-up—helping shape what's to come for MoNA members!
Cost: Free for members!
