The Video Game Summit, now in its 22nd year, brings together classic and modern generation gamers from all over the country to swap stories, games. Visit our Game Area where you can play games like Tempest 2000 on the Jaguar, Bomberman 94 on the Turbografx-16 and Phoenix on the 2600 just to name a few as we plan to include other systems that everyone can enjoy including home brew games for the 2600. Other consoles that will be on display are XBOX, Sega Master System, PlayStation, GameCube and much more.
The special guests coming to the show will be happy to sign autographs, take pictures and tell stories about their history in gaming. Already confirmed are: Paul Niemeyer (Mortal Kombat Artist),Dan and Gary Kitchen,David Crane ( Game Developers), and Patrick Hickey Jr.(Journalist,Comic Book Author and Voice Actor). VGS is open to the public and people of all ages with an interest in video gaming are encouraged to attend.
According to the event’s promoter, Daniel Iacovelli,” After a break and working the Combo show with Pinball Expo in 2024 VGS returns in 2025 to our roots with an intimate show and at new location Countryside Holiday Inn at 6201 Joliet Road, Countryside, IL ”.
Best of all, admission to The 2025 Video Game Summit is only $10.00 per person (kids 12 and under with adult is free).
Vendors space consist of one 6 foot bare table (if you want it skirted you have to bring in your table cover)and 2 chairs for $50.00 each limit of 2 per vendor.
