Wildlife Enclosure Wildenburg - Tour in English

In the eastern part of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park lies the Wildlife Enclosure Wildenburg, directly at the National Park Gate Wildenburg. During the approximately 2-hour long guided tour in English, you will experience the local wildlife up close, accompanied by a certified National Park guide.

Meet gray wolves, wild boars, mountain goats, owls, peacocks, forest goats, shy wildcats (the National Park’s heraldic animal), and many other species. The friendly sika deer can even be visited, fed, and petted in its enclosure.

The stroller-friendly circular route includes two nature-based playgrounds. After the tour, you can have a snack at the kiosk, relax in the picnic area, or enjoy the playground.
