About the event

第17回　田主丸・虫追い祭り　巨瀬川の大合戦
３年ぶりに行われる田主丸の伝統行事。
　全国に残る虫追い行事ですが、6人で動かす武者人形がぶつかりあい、20人以上でかつぐ大馬が暴れ回る虫追いは全国でもココだけ。
　午前７時半に田主丸天満宮で出陣式、午前10時過ぎにJAにじ耳納の里、正午過ぎJR田主丸駅で「或る列車」お出迎え、午後２時過ぎ田主丸中央商店街・月読神社、そして、午後６時に巨瀬川・中央橋のたもとで川の中の大合戦。
