🗣️ Olete oodatud kunstnikuvestlusele näitusel „Lagunemise vaikne grammatika“
Kunstnik Miina Barrera Pinochet arutleb koos eesti kirjandusteadlase, semiootiku ja ökofeministi Kadri Tüüriga
kunstniku loomingulise teekonna, näituse „Lagunemise vaikne grammatika“ loomise, päritolu, Muhumaa ja Saaremaa tähenduse üle tema praktikas. Lisaks avab ta samas hoones eksponeeritud oma kunstirühmituse Fluidum näituse teemat ja telgitaguseid.
Näitus keskendub lagunemise ja muutumise aeglastele protsessidele – settinud mälestustele ning pinnase kihtidele. Kuigi juured on nüüd lahti rebitud ja kodu muutunud määratlematuks, püsivad vanad jäljed, katkestused ja seosed – hägusad, ent jätkuvalt sidet otsivad. Lagunemine ei ole siin kadumine, vaid teisenev vorm – vaikne grammatika, mille kaudu luua uut keelt.
Isikunäitus koosneb seni koos eksponeerimata varasematest töödest ning märgib ühtlasi aeglast vahepeatust – dokumentatsiooni ühest tsüklist enne järgmise algust.

🗣️ You are warmly invited to an artist talk at the exhibition “The Quiet Grammar of Decay”
Artist Miina Barrera Pinochet will be in conversation with Kadri Tüür – an Estonian literary scholar, semiotician, and ecofeminist – to discuss the artist’s creative journey, the making of the exhibition "The Quiet Grammar of Decay,” her background, and the significance of Saaremaa and Muhu in her practice. She will also introduce the themes and behind-the-scenes of her artist collective Fluidum’s exhibition, also on view in the same building.
The exhibition centers on the slow processes of decay and transformation – sedimented memories and layers of soil that shape new meanings. Even when roots are torn out and home is undefined, old traces and connections remain – blurry, yet persistently seeking contact. Here, decay does not imply disappearance, but rather a transformation into a new form – a quiet grammar through which to create a new language.
This solo exhibition consists of previously unexhibited earlier works and also marks a slow pause – a documentation of one cycle before the beginning of the next.
