Join us for an unforgettable 6-night art workshop in the stunning East Kimberley, staying on an iconic Kimberley cattle station an hour and a half from Kununurra!
Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of the Cockburn Ranges where you'll discover the joy and diversity of the art of printmaking under the expert guidance of revered Australian artist, Mellissa Read-Devine.
✨ What to Expect:
* Scenic Location: Collect reference materials and make sketches around the station and take short excursions to inspiring locations along the river, out on marsh land, wetlands, billabongs and gorges.
* Comfortable work area: Work in the shade of our spacious, cool verandahs with your own large table.
* Expert Tuition: Learn invaluable art and printing techniques from Mellissa Read-Devine, a specialist in relief printmaking and acrylic painting.
* Exploration & Inspiration: Outings to Marlgu Billabong (RAMSAR bird wetland) and historic Wyndham.

Explore various printing techniques including linocut, drypoint, collagraph, and monotype using simple tools.
👩🎨 About Mellissa Read-Devine:
Mellissa, originally from England and raised in Australia, now calls the Hawkesbury River in rural Sydney home. Specialises in relief printmaking and acrylic painting, Mellissa has showcased her work in group shows, held 16 solo exhibitions, and been a finalist in major Australian Art Prizes. In 2021, she was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW and regularly tutors there. Her inspiration is the landscape particularly the outback.
