Join Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui & Mālama Kula for hands-on community healing!
Help restore our beautiful Kula community alongside the grassroots heroes who've already mobilized 3,000+ volunteers and 27,000 hours of recovery work since the 2023 fires!
What we'll do:
🌿 Plant native vegetation (vetiver for erosion control)
🪵 Spread protective wood chips
🌱 Remove invasive fire-prone plants
💪 Activities for all fitness levels!
Bring:
👟 Closed-toe shoes & long sleeves/pants
☀️ Sunscreen, water, snacks, sunglasses
🧤 Work gloves (or use ours!)
This isn't just cleanup—it's about mālama 'āina and supporting our neighbors as they rebuild. Be part of the solution that's bringing Kula together!
Mālama Kula recently received $100K in Rotary District 5000 fire relief funds, and we're proud to partner with their ongoing recovery efforts.
We'll meet in the upper parking lot at Kula Marketplace at 8:30 am.
