The Asia School of Business (ASB) is delighted to invite you to the launch of ASB Tun Ismail Ali Center of Excellence (TIACOE), in conjunction with the school's 10-Year Anniversary! As a new research center endowed by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), TIACOE is dedicated to advancing thought leadership and impactful research in monetary and financial economics. We are honored to welcome Nobel Laureate in Economics (1997), Professor Robert C. Merton, as our eminent keynote speaker.
This special event commemorates the legacy of Tun Ismail Ali, the first Malaysian Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, and marks the beginning of a new chapter in fostering academic-practitioner exchange through conferences, seminars, and public lectures led by the Center.

The ASB Tun Ismail Ali Center of Excellence in Monetary & Financial Economics (TIACOE) is a Bank Negara Malaysia-endowed research center under the stewardship of the Asia School of Business. TIACOE aims to advance research in the field of monetary and financial economics as well as elevating the capacity of local higher education institutions and widening outreach via engagements with local academics, students and the public.
