RUIZ OSC1 (COL)
Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz, known as RUIZ OSC1, is a dynamic DJ and producer from Bogotá. A master of vinyl mixing, she has played at iconic venues such as Bassiani, Radion, Tresor, FOLD, Basement NYC and RSO, as well as featuring on renowned podcasts like Intercell and Vault Sessions.
Her deep-rooted passion for music stems from her mother, a singer and music reseller, who introduced her to salsa, merengue, and classic Colombian folklore in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. After moving to Europe in 2010, she fused these influences with electronic beats, shaping her distinctive sound: “folkloric groove techno.”
RUIZ OSC1 made her debut on KAOS with a track on Ritualistic Discoteca and her solo EP Grooveroots. She later collaborated with labels such as Emerald and Molekül, further expanding her sonic universe.
A rising artist to watch, her signature style crafts deeply immersive musical journeys, captivating audiences with every set.
