Beginner Silent Hike - 11 January

This is an on leash pet friendly hike.

Generally considered an easy-moderate route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

This trail has some koppie elevation but is not a mountain and includes forests and lush shaded walking.

Kloofzicht Lodge lends itself to family fun, group excursions and outdoor activities due to the beautiful dams on the property, a magnificent mountain and stretches of grass lands all within a private game reserve. Three walking trails are available at the lodge which are ideal for bird and game watching Lots of birds, wild flowers and insects as well as the odd giraffe, warthog and Impala. The lakes, the trees and bushes, the waterfall - they are all stunning. A very leisurely walk with a restaurant at the end. Very well marked and not shaded so wear lots of sunscreen.
