Join us on this creative Sunday, where we will discuss poetry and write collective poems together in the sun.
In this 2-part workshop, we will first,
Have an informal meeting where you can bring some of your own poetry or poems that you like and we will do a round of reading them out loud (reading out loud is not mandatory). Following this, we will have a little discussion about why people write poetry.
In the second part of the workshop, we will write collective poetry. For those new to writing poetry, there will be guidance and topics to support you in the process.
Outcome:
Following the workshop, we will turn the collective poems into a printable Flyer/ booklet/ poster (depending on the outcome) which can be picked up at Fundament in the following weeks.
Bring a pen or pencil to write with and a small notebook if you like. We will supply materials for the collective poem and will have some supplies available if you're just popping by.
