Vuosi 1965 oli merkittävä vuosi ja eräänlainen käännekohta jazzmusiikissa. Tämän vuoden aikana John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter ym. julkaisivat osan heidän ja jazzhistorian vaikutusvaltaisimmista albumeistaan. Nyt vuonna 2025 helsinkiläinen rumpali Benjamin Nylund, Tukholmassa asuva kontrabasisti Jonathan Bäckström ja vaasalainen kitaristi Mathias Sandberg ovat sovittaneet heidän suosikki sävellyksiään vuodelta 1965 modernilla otteella.
