Over the last five years, hundreds of people have passed through our workshops: kimchi makers, kombucha brewers, vinegar experimenters, shoyu explorers, hot sauce creatives, miso enthusiasts, and many others who kept the craft alive in their own kitchens.
This evening is for all of you.
The Alumni Gathering is an open moment of exchange where we reconnect, taste, compare, and share what has been quietly fermenting since your first workshop with us. Bring something from home if you have a jar you are proud of, a ferment you want feedback on, or a question you never found the time to ask. And if you come empty-handed, you are just as welcome, curiosity is the only requirement.
We will open jars from the Fermenthings Lab, talk about the new directions of the Urban Fermentory, and taste experiments old and new. It is not a class, not a lecture, but a communal table where everyone contributes a story, a flavour, or a question.
Whether you joined us five years ago or last month, this gathering is a way to look back at how far your practice has come and to meet the wider community that makes Fermenthings what it is.
