Itinerary
Day 01
11:00AM: Pick up from Ernakulam South Railway station
12:30PM: Lunch
02:00PM: Report at Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Thattekkad
Check in at the Dormitory
03:00PM: Walk and fishing at Periyar river
06:00PM: Return back, freshen up
07.30PM: Camp fire (if favorable weather ) followed by Dinner.
Optional: Herping (micro photography on reptiles & amphibians)
Day 02
06:30AM: Proceed for a 1.5 to 2 hrs trekking
Back to camp for breakfast
10:00AM: Drive to Urulanthanny for a waterfall trek
01:00PM: Back to camp for lunch and a feedback session
02:00PM: Check out
04:30PM: Drop off at Ernakulam South station

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Why is the joining point in Ernakulam, why not anywhere in Kerala?
A. Since participants are joining the trip from various parts of Kerala and even from outside the state, door-to-door pickup isn't feasible. Instead, we've arranged a common pickup point that is conveniently accessible by both train and bus.
2. Will I get any companions to travel from my city?
Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of travelers who are in for this trip. There you can see other people travelling from your city.
3. Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?
A. No. During the stay, you can keep the bag in your dorm
4. Can I take my kid along with me on this trip?
A. Yes but the charges depend on the age group.
Kids below 2yr: no charges (no bed or no seperate seat)
2-4yr : 2000rs (No seperate bed)
Above 4yr same as adults
5. Will, there be a signal for the mobile network
A. Not all places but still you can get connected with family.
6. After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?
A. It's strictly as per cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration
7. Will it be raining during this trip?
A. Yes, mostly as it's a monsoon destination
8. Is there any trek included in this trip?
A. Yes there is a small hike in the trip
Know before you go!
1. Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Traveller littering may be fined.
2. Please stick to time schedule as it's a two-day trip covering multiple destinations
3. We will not be waiting for late running trains and buses, please prepare and book accordingly
4. Please keep minimum luggage
5. Consumption of alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited in our trip
6. Dinner will Kanji with Payar, Pappadam and Pickle.
Cancellation Policy

1. For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
2. For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
3. For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
4. For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply, and you will receive no refunds.
5. No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
