Open Streets Knoxville 2025 - Sutherland Avenue

Open Streets Knoxville creates safe, family-friendly fun by reserving city streets for people outside of cars. The event connects community members with local businesses and organizations and each other, making space for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike, dance, and much more in the streets!

Join us as we return to Sutherland Avenue, which we last visited in 2018! The route will span from North Bellemeade Ave. to Division St.

More than a street festival, Open Streets encourages active transportation and healthy living, providing residents an opportunity to reconceive our streets as public spaces. Participants can enjoy being physically active and discovering new local businesses by foot, bike, scooter, or any human-powered vehicle.

We are partnering with Cattywampus Puppet Council again this year to bring their annual puppet parade to Open Streets!
