Learn Sanguine Drawing using a Grid! with Laurie Szilvagyi

Explore an old Flemish master’s Sanguine drawing technique using a minimal number of pencils in earth colors. One of the goals is to utilize a grid technique to transfer the image and work in sections. Artists will learn how to draw key lines to turn form and utilize the tone paper to fulfill some of mid values. This workshop includes a lecture/demo by the instructor regarding the history of Sanguine drawings and how you obtain better focus when drawing with a grid.
