Join us for a free, no-signup “Try-It-Out” Day on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, from 4:00–4:45 PM at the Ross Ragland Cultural Center! All age groups (Grades 1–6) will combine for a fun, introductory rehearsal. Kids will warm up their voices, play a musical game, learn a new song, and sing it together.
The Rag Tag choirs are an after-school program for kids who love to sing—no experience needed! With two groups (Grades 1–3 and Grades 4–6), singers build confidence, learn vocal skills, and discover the joy of performing together.
— Rehearsals every Monday
— Engaging vocal warmups & music games
— Learn stage presence & basic music theory
— Perform in concerts each semester on the Ragland stage
You don’t have to sign-up or pay anything to participate in our “try-it-out day,” but if you decide to join us, here is the info you’d need:
Rehearsal Times:
—Grades 1–3: Mondays 4:00–4:45 PM
—Grades 4–6: Mondays 5:00–6:00 PM
Fall Semester: $120 | Scholarships available
