Cactus Field Trip with Ron Bockelman

As a part of Kittitas Environmental Education Network's Get Intimate with the Shrub Steppe weekend, botanist Ron Bockelman will be guiding a special wildflower walk, all about Basalt (Hedgehog) Cactus! Featuring stops at Wild Horse and surrounding public land, Ron will cover everything you need to know about this vibrant hardy barrel cactus, including blooms, seeds, spines, pollinators, and regrowth after fire!
