Drum class with Namory
5:30 - 6:30 pm

In Namory’s drum class you’ll learn a few parts of a rhythm from the Hamana region of Guinea, including solos.
*Please bring your own drum or let us know ahead of time if you need to borrow one.
Dance class with Liz Fowler
6:45-7:45 pm

Donations after rent in August will go to Namory for his family unification.
After the warm-up, you’ll learn a few parts of a traditional dance and a dundun dance where you drum and dance together. (Drums and sticks are provided.)
Namory leads the accompaniment for dance class and is joined by several students from his classes.
Drop-ins are welcome to both drum and dance classes. No pre-registration required
