Guinean drum and dance classes with Seny and Namory

Seny Daffe is coming back to the Dance Hall!

Join us for Guinean drum and dundun dance classes with Namory Keita and Seny Daffe!

Drum class with Namory
5:30 - 6:30 pm
$20.00

Be sure to bring your own djembe or let us know ahead if you need to borrow one.

In drum class you’ll learn several parts - solos and accompaniments - to a rhythm from the Hamana region of Guinea, where Namory is from.

Dundun dance with Seny
6:45 - 8:00 pm
$20 - $25

In dundun dance class, we’ll play drums and dance at the same time. Seny will teach a dance or two (and likely a song as well) from Guinea.

Since we have limited dunduns to lend, please email us at if you need to borrow one.

We had the best classes with Seny in May and can’t wait to welcome him back to The Dance Hall!
