Tokyo Marathon Fundraising Running Workshop – Sunday 2nd November 2025
As part of our fundraising for the Tokyo Marathon 2026, we’re delighted to be hosting a special running workshop in Kirkcaldy. Proceeds will go towards supporting five brilliant charities we’re running for:
• Chance for Children
• Action Against Child Exploitation
• JOICFP (Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning)
• Peace Winds Japan
• Muscular Dystrophy UK
This is a brilliant opportunity to hear from an inspiring line-up of speakers, each bringing unique expertise to help you enjoy your running, avoid injuries, and perform at your best:
✨ Anna Rutherford – Ultra runner & recent 100-mile race winner, sharing her training approach and unusual strategies that carried her to victory.
✨ Derek Rae – Former GB Paralympic marathoner, reflecting on his journey to the Paralympics and the mindset needed to compete at the highest level.
✨ Stevie Gilmour – Breathing coach & former international cricketer, demonstrating how breathing techniques can transform performance and recovery.
✨ Graeme McDowall – GB age-group duathlete & senior sport & fitness lecturer, on nutrition and habit stacking for sustainable progress.
✨ Nicola Duncan – Physiotherapist, yoga & Pilates instructor, on preventing and managing common running injuries, and the importance of strength, conditioning & mobility.
