PRISMA: LASTA GO LONRACH: CASTING A LIGHT ON QUEER GAEILGE FILMMAKING

Through an evident rise of short films, produced and told as Gaeilge, a new understanding of the language and its role in shaping a new cultural and social identity has emerged. Queer activism and filmmaking is carving out its own space within this. The panel will discuss how language and queerness connect, collide, and create confidence in expressing your identity.
