With characteristic wit and clarity, writer and performer Tanya Davis sifts through church, state, and wellness culture to parse our best intentions from our worst practices. Her own tendencies laid bare, she invites us to cringe and laugh along, to consider the harm that hides in seeking’s shadows, and to question what it is we’re really looking for.
