The Prince Edward Island Darts Association (PEIDA) has officially announced the 2026 Provincial Qualifiers schedule, a major step for players looking to secure a spot on Team PEI.
The qualifiers will take place at the Emerald Community Centre, 1910 Nodd Rd., Emerald PE, on January 11, January 25, and February 8, 2026.
NEW REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees will increase to $30 per event, and all participants must be PEIDA members. Memberships will be available at the door for $40.
This adjustment helps cover the rising costs of DartConnect, and as approved at the AGM, 50% of the remaining proceeds will be directed to support the adult national team.
START TIMES

To help with the influx of memberships sold at the first qualifier, we will be reversing the start times of Men and Women for the first qualifier only.
Qualifier 1 Only:
Men's Registration closes at 9:15 am Play starts at 9:30 am
Women's Registration closes at 9:45 am Play starts at 10:00 am
Qualifier 2 and 3:
Women's Registration closes at 9:15 am Play starts at 9:30 am
Men's Registration closes at 9:45 am Play starts at 10:00 am
IMPORTANT UPDATE: New Qualifier Points System

At the AGM, we reviewed our current points structure and agreed that an update is needed for individual event scoring. Under the previous system, the winner of an event earned 40 points, with each following position receiving one point less (39, 38, and so on). We feel this does not properly recognize the top performers of the day.
Moving forward, the top three finishers will earn increased points: 1st place will receive 50 points, 2nd place will receive 45 points, and 3rd place will receive 42 points. Fourth place will receive 40 points, with each subsequent position decreasing by one point.
