Cedar Island is a great location. There is a beach on one side, and two marinas are on the other side.

This time of year, the yellow jackets are very aggressive. Some tips to keep them from stinging.
To avoid a yellow jacket sting, stay calm and move away slowly if one approaches, as swatting can trigger an attack. Wear light-colored clothing and avoid scented products. Secure and cover food and drinks, especially sugary items. Be aware of your surroundings and stay away from potential nesting sites like garbage cans and holes in the ground. If you are severely allergic, carry an epinephrine auto-injector and consider wearing a medical alert bracelet.
