Proudly presented in partnership with Kingborough Council, the festival brings together outstanding cinema, storytelling, and live performance for a truly unique cultural experience.

Opening Night: A Boy Called Sailboat.

Film screening with a live performance - Fri 3rd Oct
Experience the acclaimed Grigoryan Brothers performing their stunning Latin-inspired soundtrack live alongside the film, followed by a Q&A with writer/director Cameron Nugent.

Starring Academy Award® winner J.K. Simmons, this uplifting tale follows a young boy, his tiny guitar, and the song that changes everything.

It’s a one-night-only event — and a rare opportunity to see two of Australia’s most celebrated musicians bring their film score to life, right here in Kingborough.
