Michael Dickey: DEV

Michael Dickey’s September solo show DEV investigates the role of the developer as architect, coder, and catalyst through the tactility of ceramics. In a world increasingly shaped by abstract systems and digital infrastructures, this exhibition reintroduces the handmade as a critical medium for interrogating the aesthetics and ethics of development. Ceramics as slow, fragile, and inherently physical serves as a foil to the speed and immateriality of contemporary development culture. Opens September 20th. Reception 5-8
