Hmong Journeys: Threads of Home exhibition opening

🎉 Join the Living Museum of Logan to officially open the new exhibition, 𝐻𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝐽𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑦𝑠: 𝑇ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒.

𝐻𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝐽𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑦𝑠: 𝑇ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒 invites you to explore the vibrant heritage and enduring resilience of the Hmong community through personal stories, traditional textiles, instruments and treasured belongings.

As we commemorate 50 years of Hmong settlement in Australia following the Vietnam war, this exhibition is both a celebration and a reflection. The stories explored in this exhibition reveal how Hmong identity is woven into the fabric of Logan’s multicultural community, highlighting narratives of migration, memory and belonging.

As part of the exhibition opening, experience the beauty of Hmong tradition through a captivating performance by Ntxhais Nkauj Hnub Ci.
