CHRIS COCHRANE (gtr), ANDREW DRURY (percussion) & JILL BURTON (voice), will be performing in the East Gallery of The Lace Mill, located in Midtown Kingston.
Jill Burton is an improviser, extended vocalist, dancer, performance artist and energy worker. Active in the American improv scene since the early 1970s, she has lived and worked all over the country, including a ten-year stint in the 1980s as part of the downtown East Village experimental arts community. She has recently performed at The Lace Mill in groups including, Fred Lonberg-Holm, and Jane Scarpantoni (a frequent partner). We are very excited to have her back.
Chris Cochrane is a songwriter and guitarist who has been playing in New York since the 1980s. Cochrane is a riveting and groundbreaking performer who is well known in his field and beyond, from numerous collaborations. (Including, Thurston Moore, Zeena Parkins, John Zorn, Marc Ribot, Billy Martin, Eszter Balint, Stew, James Chance, Mike Patton, Henry Kaiser, Andrea Centazzo, Annie Gosfield, Tim Hodgkinson, Miguel Frasconi, Richard Buckner, Davey Williams, Ladonna Smith and Jim Pugliese and many others)
