Sow To Sew - Fibre Fridays

A family friendly session with free indoor activities. Parents or guardians must be present. Suitable for 7+.

This is the third stage of our project which involves demonstrations and processing of flax fibres using crops harvested this year.

This activity is suitable for all abilities. We welcome anyone that would like to learn about the traditional methods of flax processing and linen threads application.

Participants will have a chance to see various textiles samples and have an opportunity to try basic yarn spinning and weaving techniques.
