We are so excited to invite you to our weekly meeting at the glorious Newland Tap, “your local living room” 🍺🍻 ….and this week we have a right treat for you.
Local author Chris Speck is coming along to have a chat with us. This brilliant “Avenue Cars” books are filled with local flavour and where better to gather together but on Newland Ave at our beloved Tap? Nowhere. It’s perfect!
We start at 6pm
6.30 - Chris will do talking
Reading this week will be a bit later from 7-8ish
Please Note - this is a really popular venue and seating is limited. We can comfortably accommodate around 25 people max
How to join us…
Just select “going” on this event page
Then turn up on the day with your book.
That’s all we need you to do.
Gather together from 6pm and reading starts for an hour at 6.30-7.30pm.
Please get in touch with the premises if you have any special requirements as they’re more than happy to accommodate. (Seriously, giant bean bags, accessibility ramp, cup of tea, they already have most bases covered).
Dog Friendly 🐕🦮🐩🐕🦺 Dogs are very welcome here (preferable to some) but please be aware that the environment is likely to be busy so if your dog is nervous, this might not be the meeting for them.
Please only mark yourself as “going” if you’re absolutely positive-tootly attending because, as I say, this space is limited to around 25 people max.
Meeting Disclaimer
All our venues are open to the paying public when meetings take place so this may mean other customers may be taking up seats or -horror of horrors- making noise! This is something out of our control and most likely will not affect your experience too much.
Please be aware when you attend any of our meetings that there’s a chance there may not be any available seats for you. Every effort will be made to make sure everyone can join in where possible and it’s unlikely to happen but only fair to point out.
