As part of our UNTHINKABLE launch night at Humber Street Gallery, we are hosting CAMBO's debut solo exhibition just around the corner on Pier Street.

Belcher Chains and Saddle Rings explores themes of family, memory, and council life with a focus on Boothferry Estate, where the artist was born and bred. This exhibition pays homage to the visual langauge of working-class style, spotlighting the council-culture legacy of belcher chains and saddle rings of symbols of pride, love, and resilience.

"This series has lived with me physically since 2024, but thematically, it's who I am" says CAMBO. "Some of it's been seen online, some never before. It's a full reflection of myself, showing family memories, and the nuances shaped by where I come from. Unthinkable Festival backed me from the beginning, so this felt like the right moment to finally show the work in its entirety - and show it here, where it belongs."
