The day will be relaxed, and you can progress at your own pace. Even if you have never held a hammer before, you will quickly progress and be amazed at what you can make. Check the photos, everyone leaves with a big smile.
The cost of each experience day is £90 per person. The price includes all materials, PPE, tea and coffee.
We are a small volunteer group, and revenue allows us to purchase materials, coal, and upgrade our tools and equipment. Because of this, we can only offer a refund if a cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance of the day, which is to allow us to fill the vacant slot.
You will have the opportunity to make several items throughout the day, see below.
Attendees must be 18 or over.
Please note, you will be working by an open coal forge. You will be instructed on Health and safety and the correct use of tools and equipment. You will be supervised at all times. However, due to the nature of the activity, all attendees do so at their own risk.
We have a covered outdoor forge. However, if the weather is truly atrocious, we may have to postpone the event and reschedule.
