Join this engaging workshop designed to equip high school and middle school teachers with the tools to teach students how to brand themselves visually, and stressing the importance of professionalism and personal branding as they prepare for the workforce.
You'll gain valuable insights into the branding process, including how to develop a personal brand and apply it consistently across marketing materials such as business cards, résumés, invoices, and social media. Key topics include:
This workshop emphasizes the use of free and affordable tools like Google Docs and Canva, allowing students to customize existing templates and create polished, professional marketing materials. Empower your students with the skills they need to stand out and succeed! All middle and high school teachers will find this useful, especially CTE teachers.
Led by Kelly Porter, Professor of Art & Design, East Tennessee State University and Felicia Strayhorn, Educational Technology Specialist, Washington County (TN) School System.
