Fun Fest's Trash Barrel Paint-In

The Trash Barrel Paint-In draws hundreds of people each year to the grounds of Allandale Mansion to create colorful and creative designs on barrels that are used to collect garbage at Fun Fest and other events throughout the year. Participants need to bring water-based paint and any brushes, sponges, stencils, spray paint, etc. People are also encouraged to bring white spray paint to cover previous-year designs on barrels before starting their own design.
Each barrel you reserve costs $5 and can be reserved at the Fun Fest Store (inside the Kingsport Chamber).
Barrels can be submitted to be judged by age category. Judging begins around 11:30 a.m. and ribbons are awarded to the winners.
Food trucks will be onsite.
In case of rain, the event will be moved to July 16.
