It's time for the Exchange Place Fall Folk Arts Festival 2025 at Exchange Place Living History Farm, Kingsport, TN!

Celebrate the spirit of autumn at the 2025 edition of the Fall Folk Arts Festival — a beloved tradition that blends Appalachian heritage with hands-on fun, all while supporting the care of Exchange Place's historic buildings, grounds, and animals.
**Artisans & Demonstrations**
Regional artists and guilds will showcase both traditional and contemporary crafts, offering demonstrations and sharing timeless skills with the next generation.
**Harvest Market**
Shop for seasonal produce, plants, and fall-themed crafts from local vendors.
**Sorghum Making Demonstration (Saturday only!)**
Watch sorghum syrup come to life as cane is ground in a mule-powered mill (featuring Maggie the mule!) and cooked over a wood-fired furnace. While the cooking demonstration occurs on only Saturday, you can still meet Maggie on Sunday too!
**Living History**
* 1850s-style cooking in the Cook's Cabin
* Blacksmith at the anvil
* Children’s “chores” and games
* Junior Apprentices sharing food traditions of the past
**Live Music All Weekend**
Enjoy traditional tunes and toe-tapping favorites throughout the farmstead.
